At Tripfy, we believe that planning your next adventure should be easy, inspiring, and private. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data within the Tripfy mobile application.


1. Overview

Tripfy is designed as a "login-free" application. We do not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or link your social media profiles to use our AI travel planning features.

2. Information We Collect and How We Use It

A. Itinerary Data

When you generate or save a travel plan, that data is stored on our secure cloud database infrastructure.

  • Purpose: This allows the app to save your progress and enables the "Share" feature.
  • Sharing: If you choose to generate a 6-digit Share Code, anyone with that specific code can view the itinerary associated with it. Please treat your share codes as public links.
  • Anonymity: Because we do not use accounts, itineraries are stored anonymously and are not linked to your real-world identity.

B. Purchase and Subscription Data

We use a third-party subscription management service to process in-app purchases and verify your "Pro" status.

  • Data Collected: This service may collect an anonymous device identifier and transaction history (e.g., "Subscription Active").
  • Payment Info: We never have access to your credit card, bank details, or billing address. All payments are handled securely by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

C. AI Processing

To generate your travel plans, the destination and preferences you enter are processed by third-party Artificial Intelligence providers. We do not send any personally identifiable information (PII) to these providers.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Itineraries: You can delete your itineraries directly within the app. Once deleted, they are removed from our database.
  • App Deletion: If you delete the app, your local data is removed. Cloud-stored itineraries remain on our database until they are manually deleted or age out of our system.
  • Manual Request: Because we do not store "user accounts," we cannot manually delete your data unless you provide the specific 6-digit codes for the itineraries you wish to remove.

4. Third-Party Services

We partner with reliable service providers for cloud hosting, subscription management, and AI generation. These partners are prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than providing the specific service requested by Tripfy.

5. Children's Privacy

Tripfy does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13. Since we do not collect names or ages, we encourage parents to monitor their children's use of the app.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top.
